VERSURA V2 in the test conducted by image hifi
In its 4/2025 issue, the renowned specialist magazine image hifi took an in-depth look at the VERSURA V2. The focus was less on the pursuit of spectacular effects and more on the question of how music can be experienced in its original form. The conviction expressed in the article – that genuine emotion is based on neutrality and authenticity, is utterly consistent with our own philosophy.
The reviewer, Andreas Wenderoth devotes particular attention to the cabinet made of tank wood, the craftsmanship and the meticulous tuning of all the components. He also highlights the straightforward setup and the VERSURA V2’s ability to reproduce
music with great ease, dynamism and tonal balance.
In his listening test, Wenderoth repeatedly focuses on the music itself rather than the speaker. The spatial presentation, impulse response and natural reproduction of voices and instruments are at the heart of his observations. In particular, the authenticity of the reproduction and the ability to render the finest nuances of a recording comprehensible left a lasting impression.
His concluding remarks sum up these impressions perfectly: “The high frequencies are beyond reproach, but it is particularly in the upper midrange that this loudspeaker delivers something I have rarely heard before in my own home. My compliments, Mr Auer!” You can read the full review here.
